I choose Safety Campaign
FLAS participated in the "I Choose Safety" campaign, led by SAfAIDS in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and supported by UNICEF. Through this initiative. Our youth engaged with young people and equipped them with life-changing knowledge around HIV prevention, teenage pregnancy, SRHR, and the often-overlooked importance of mental health.
The team emphasized how mental well-being is closely linked to the choices young people make regarding their bodies, relationships, and futures. By addressing these interconnected issues in a safe and open space, we’re helping young people build the confidence and resilience to make informed, empowered decisions.
Together, we are raising a generation that values their health, protects their future, and chooses safety over risk.
