FLAS PARTICIPATES IN HIGH-LEVEL CONSULTATION ON GLOBAL AIDS STRATEGY 2026–2031
The UNAIDS Country Office convened a high-level consultation meeting on the Global AIDS Strategy 2026–2031, held at the United Nations House in Eswatini. This pivotal gathering brought together a wide spectrum of stakeholders committed to shaping the future of the HIV response both nationally and globally. Representing the Family Life Association of Eswatini (FLAS) was Executive Director Mr. Patrick Dlamini, who joined leaders and experts from Government ministries, Development Partners, Civil Society, the Private Sector, the United Nations family, and representatives of People Living with HIV.
The meeting provided a platform to align Eswatini’s national HIV response with global strategic priorities, emphasising equity, innovation, and sustainability in the fight to end AIDS as a public health threat. NERCHA was also in attendance, represented by Dr. Bongani Masango on behalf of the National Executive Director. FLAS reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to strengthening partnerships and advancing integrated, youth-friendly, and rights-based Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services. The organisation remains an active contributor in shaping national policies and strategies that are inclusive, community-centred, and evidence-based.
