
FLAS stakeholder engagement meeting
The Honourable Minister of Health, Mduduzi Matsebula, graced the Family Life Association of Eswatini’s (FLAS) stakeholder engagement meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn. The event was held for Stream 2 grant recipients from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) through the Consortium to Advance Access to New HIV Prevention Products (CAAPP), comprising six member associations. The Consortium is in the country for a week-long service delivery workshop to learn about PrEP service delivery in Eswatini (Oral PrEP, PrEPRing and Injectable PrEP.
During his address, the minister highlighted the significant progress Eswatini has made in implementing HIV prevention programs. He commended the Family Life Association of Eswatini for its pivotal contributions to these efforts, particularly in advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services. The Minister specifically noted the importance of engaging youth in these initiatives, recognising them as vital stakeholders in the fight against HIV. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Consortium for choosing Eswatini as a site for this learning exchange.
The stakeholder engagement meeting was attended by various partners, including UNFPA, AHF, World Vision, UNAIDS, and NERCHA.
