
FLAS Extends Clinical Operations to Nhlangano
FLAS has expanded her operations to the Shiselweni Region through a move that saw a new static clinic open in Nhlangano Town at the NATICC Premises. The clinic has been operational since the beginning of February 2021 and has already been allocated facility number S129.
Services offered at the facility include: General clinical services, maternal neonate child health encompassing of; antenatal care, post-natal care for mothers, child growth monitoring and immunization for newborn babies.

Family Planning services include injectables, the pill, implant insertion and removal, Intra-uterine device insertion and removal.
Screening services offered are pregnancy test, breast examination for breast cancer, cervical cancer screening, prostate cancer, HIV testing and ART provision and monitoring. We also do blood group testing and blood sugar testing as well as screening and treatment of STls.
The news was met with excitement from social media users who could not contain their excitement for the move by the Association. Neliswa Nsibandze said, ‘this is nice more youth-friendly health services for us.’ Zuziwe Zazu Simelane said, ‘this is great, NATICC and FLAS in one space.’ That’s great nawe Nhlangano awumcinyana.’
